UPS in depth
Deep SNMP reads (battery, bypass, input, runtime) so risk shows before the outage.
Otiumtek Iris
What it monitors
Iris is on-prem SNMP monitoring: UPS units and network devices on an operational dashboard for the shift. A standalone product.
Deep SNMP reads (battery, bypass, input, runtime) so risk shows before the outage.
Devices on SNMP v1/v2c/v3: interfaces, sensors, and host resources as the device exposes them.
Create and import: host, location, credentials, and protocol — no loose spreadsheets.
Critical, offline, and action-needed first — not every metric at once.
Telegram, email, or webhook when status degrades, with noise control.
Iris watches its own polling, metrics, and notifications — if the engine fails, you know in time.
On-prem per operation. Not a generic NMS or a Grafana replacement: observability for the people who respond on shift.

Operations
In operations
When power or network fails, the shift needs to see it in time. Iris puts that layer in front of operators — not only IT.
Each vendor console in a different browser wears the shift down. Iris consolidates the fleet on one dashboard: one screen to see which UPS or SNMP device needs attention.
A device offline is noticed late if nobody is watching. The dashboard shows offline, no-data, or degraded before the field incident blows up.
Viewer user: sees the operational dashboard without SNMP credentials or admin access. Useful in a control room or supervision desk.
When status degrades, Iris can notify via Telegram, email, or webhook — with cooldown so the channel is not flooded.
Data depth depends on what each device exposes over SNMP. Vendor-specific profiles and automatic network discovery are not presented as ready for every model.
Ways to use it
The same Iris, depending on the shift role.
Inventory, SNMP credentials, thresholds, and engine health. For whoever configures the fleet and keeps monitoring alive.
Prioritized dashboard for supervision or NOC — without exposing sensitive modules or credentials.
In both modes the focus is actionable operational status, not a wall of SNMP OIDs.

Frequently asked questions
Answers for teams evaluating SNMP monitoring and operational observability.
A standalone on-prem SNMP monitoring product: UPS units and network devices, with inventory, a prioritized dashboard, and alerts for the shift.
UPS units with detailed SNMP reads, and network devices that expose SNMP v1/v2c/v3. Depth depends on the device and its OIDs.
No. It is an operational panel with inventory, polling, and alerts for the shift — on-prem, focused on actionable status.
Yes. The viewer user sees the dashboard without configuration access or SNMP credentials.
No. Iris runs on its own. It does not require Onyx, Tork, or video/access platforms.
UPS, SNMP network, fleet size, and who watches the panel — we assess the on-prem deployment that fits.
